Art for Small Runs of Poker Sized Custom Playing Cards
If you are looking for casino quality playing cards with custom faces in a small run - 18 decks is preferred (just call for instructions if you need less) please prepare your multi page pdf file (easily done in Adobe In design) by setting up your files as follows:
- 2.657 x 3.657 (defaults to 2.66 x 3.66) if ANY of the cards in your deck bleed.
- Page 1 should be the card back pages 2-55 should be the cards in the order you wish them to print and come out in the deck with card 1 as the top card and card 54 as page 55 (remember page 1 is the card back).
- ALL ARTWORK FOR ALL PLAYING CARD ORDERS SHOULD BE IN CMYK and 300 dpi to size.600 or 1200 dpi is overkill and creates files sizes that are overly large.
- If NONE of your cards bleed on either side then you can setup the file 2.5 x 3.5 inches and keep everything vital in the live area as shown in the poker grid art templates.
- We also accept individual eps, ai, or pdf files setup to the size of the icards you desire. This includes custom card sizes like tarot, jumbo and miniature playing cards.
- Just pick the size you want and for bleed edges - please add 1/4 inch total to each dimension which is actually 1/8 inch added to each of the four sides to accommodate bleed.
- When it comes to simple custom-back-only decks, if you setup your work in Powerpoint - Word - an RGB drawing program or some other non-Adobe
program, no worries. Send it over and we will fix it up for you, even if you drew your art on a napkin. No charge! - For more complicated projects, please email us for a quote at sales@admagic.com.
Art Requirements for Custom Playing Cards
- Custom poker decks measure 2.5 x 3.5 but the bleed area extends to 2.657 x 3.657 as shown in the template
- It s fine to bleed your art to the edge but keep any critical wording inside the live image area
- When you provide artwork there should be no grid lines visible
- For custom faces please provide a 54 page in design file 54 individual eps or tif files measuring 2.657 x 3.657 inches in size
- All art should be 300 dpi to size
- Convert all fonts to outlines or send the fonts with the files
- Send large files via http://www.wetransfer.com or we will provide an FTP location
